Grading math

A PSA 10 sells for 6.7x the raw price. A PSA 9 sells for $568.73, 2.2x raw.

Even a PSA 9 ($568.73) sells for more than a raw copy plus $59.99 to grade it (PSA Standard, for cards valued up to $1,000) ($319.92 total), so grading pays if your copy is clean enough for a 9; a PSA 10 is upside on top. Most raw copies grade lower than a 9, so check condition first. This is a rough guide, not a guarantee.
